The Executive Committee meeting of the Lahore Bar Association was held on 01.03.2026 under the chairmanship of Mr. Irfan Hayat Bajwa, President Lahore Bar, in which Mian Tahir Munir, Senior Vice President, Humayun Zaheer Bhatti, Vice President, Malik Fahad Shar Khokhar, Secretary General, Shoaib Ashraf Bhatti, Secretary, Asif Kanwal Khan, Vice President, Model Town Courts, Zahid Mehmood Gul, Vice President, Cantt Courts, Samina Mustafa Basra, Joint Secretary, Muhammad Zohaib Shahid Khan, Finance Secretary, Noman Ali Goraia, Library Secretary, Raheela Hafeez Rana, Auditor and other members of the executive attended. In today's meeting, President Lahore Bar Mr. Irfan Hayat Bajwa said that The lawyers' community strongly condemns the martyrdom of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in the attack by Israeli forces. The hearts of Muslims around the world are saddened by the martyrdom of the Iranian Supreme Leader, his family members and colleagues. Lahore Bar, expressing solidarity with the Iranian people, announces a strike tomorrow, Monday, 02.03.2026, and lawyers will not appear in courts as a protest. Judges The President of Lahore Bar Association further said that the entire Muslim Ummah will have to think and raise the flag of jihad against the anti-Islamic forces through consensus and unity. We demand from the government of the day to play its role in these circumstances and to be sustainable.
